There are many sites on the Web that provide a comprehensive list of Shakespearean links . . . and we're not one of them. But the short list of sites we've chosen provide good resources to get you started. They are favorites of teachers and staff who have worked at the Folger.

Hamlet on the Ramparts

Hamlet on the Ramparts, a collaboration between the Folger Shakespeare Library and MIT, is a multimedia exploration of Hamlet 1.4-5. Complete with film, primary source materials, lesson plans, and tutorials, the site is a great place to begin working with Shakespeare in the classroom or computer lab.

A huge, high-quality website with edited texts and many other resources.

Shakespeare Magazine

Shakespeare Magazine was a quarterly journal dedicated to bringing together the best of scholarship and the best of classroom teaching; although no longer publishing, its website continues.
