Exploring an exhibition

Building and Exhibition Tours

Reading Rooms

Elizabethan Garden

  • First and third Saturday of the month, from April through October
    at 10 and 11am

Led by our knowledgable Docents, Folger tours are free; no advance reservations needed for building or garden tours.

 

Group Tours

Tours for groups must be arranged in advance.

Private group tours for groups of 15 or more may also be scheduled for a base fee of $100. Group size is limited to 60 people or less. An additional fee is charged for groups of more than 25 people.

Exhibition Mobile Tours

Explore our current tour through and audio interviews with curators and experts, digitally thumb through image galleries, and particpate in interactive polls.

Cell phone audio tours

Go behind the scenes to learn more about the Folger's national landmark buidling, our Elizabeth Garden, and our exhibitions with cell phone audio tours. The tours are free; the only cost is your cell phone minutes.
