Home to the world's largest Shakespeare collection, the Folger Shakespeare Library is a world-class center for scholarship, learning, culture, and the arts. In order to sustain and grow these critical initiatives, we rely on the generosity of individuals, families, corporations, foundations, and government agencies. Today, approximately 2,000 donors provide 25% of our annual operating budget.
We invite you to personally participate in the life of the Folger Shakespeare Library by making a tax-deductible donation to the institution.

-
K-12 education programs designed to engage and inspire young minds, make Shakespeare's language accessible, and cultivate a lifelong passion for his works and literature and learning in general.
-
Extensive efforts to conserve and maintain our collections' integrity, and expand our collections through the acquisition of rare books, manuscripts, and artwork.
-
Award-winning cultural and arts programs--theater, poetry, music, exhibitions, and lectures--that connect broader audiences to its collections and support the living legacy of Shakespeare in American life.
Support the Folger Shakespeare Library today and ensure that this peerless institution and its vital cultural and educational programs continue to flourish for years to come. For more information, please follow the links above or contact Essence Newhoff, Director of Development, at (202) 675-0302.
