Bill's Buddies

Bill's Buddies is the Folger Shakespeare Library's ensemble of professional actors. Each lively performance gets students up on stage to speak, to act, to play with Shakespeare's words with their voices and bodies and engage with the text on every level.

For the 2013-2014 schoolyear, the Buddies will be performing an abridged, interactive version of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Four actors (and some of your students) will tell the story using Shakespeare's words and seek to ignite an interest in learning more about this play and others!

Appropriate for students in grades 3 to 12, these shows bring Shakespeare's  plays to life in a dynamic, interactive, and fun way!

Your Place. . .

Bill's Buddies will perform their hour-long interactive performance for any size audience, in almost any space. Please try to be as specific as possible about where you will have the performance take place in your school, and how many students you anticipate being present.
