FOLGER THEATRE'S 2014/2015 STUDENT MATINEES:

JULIUS CAESAR

November 13 & 19, 2014

December 4, 2014

Beware the Ides of March, Caesar. Shakespeare's ferocious examination of power, ambition, and democratic responsibility crackles just one block from the Capitol.

MARY STUART

February 12, 2015

Imprisoned by her Protestant cousin and Queen of England Elizabeth I, Mary, Queen of Scots anxiously waits for her fate to be decided. Leading ladies Kate Eastwood Norris and Holly Twyford reunite for the ultimate regal showdown in this bold new translation.

ROSENCRANTZ AND GUILDENSTERN ARE DEAD

May 28, 2014

The modern theatrical classic and Tony Award® winner for "Best Play" is a veritable feast of astute wordplay and wit. This linguistically brilliant romp through Elsinore - where heads always wins and pirates can happen to anyone - appears for the first time on the Folger stage, featuring Ian Merrill Peakes.

William Humphrys after Richard Westall. Brutus and the ghost of Caesar (Julius Caesar IV.iii). Print, 1832
