Programs for Teachers and Students

Teaching Shakespeare Institute

Shakespeare Steps Out

Secondary School Shakespeare Festival

Whether you are near or far, Folger Education offers programs for you! Explore the list at left to learn more.

Programs for local teachers and students range from teaching workshops, student festivals, classroom programs, student matinee performances, and high school fellowships to our own Bill's Buddies acting troupe and the Shakespeare Steps Out program for elementary school classes.

Teachers across town or across the country may want to explore our national Shakespeare Set Free workshops and mini-institutes as well as the summer teaching institute. And our student festivals are on the move, too, with a festival program in New Jersey as well as in DC.

School visits are open to anyone visiting the DC area. Whether you are from Pennsylvania, California, Australia, or around the corner, we will do our best to give you a world-class visit.
