Play in a Day Workshop

Teachers attending this workshop will leave with a wealth of story-telling techniques. They will return to their students armed with strategies on how to extract the key ideas of the play through close engagement with the language and how to express these ideas in a variety of visual and physical ways.
Building on interactive techniques that form the core of the Shakespeare Set Free workshop, participants will delve into a Shakespeare play as actors and directors! Participants will discuss character motivations, text delivery, and the mechanics of staging a scene.
