Experiencing Shakespeare Virtual Field Trip

Experiencing Shakespeare is a virtual field trip to the Folger Shakespeare Library. Through the program, students discover techniques for reading and understanding Shakespeare’s language.  They’ll travel backstage with professional actors rehearsing for a Shakespeare performance, see original documents relating to Shakespeare’s life and times, and enjoy special behind-the-scenes access to the Folger. Folger experts also answer questions submitted by students from across the United States and around the world.

Experiencing Shakespeare is designed for students grades 6 - 12.

This program was originally broadcast on March 6, 2012. It will be viewable online soon.
