Shakespeare's "supernatural horror thriller" is available on DVD. The full-length film version of Folger Theatre's acclaimed 2008 production of Macbeth, directed by Teller and Aaron Posner, includes bonus features on magic in Shakespeare, stage combat, and exclusive commentary from the directors, cast, and crew.
The New York Times called the production “a knockout,” and The Wall Street Journal said, “This riveting Macbeth ought to be seen by as many people as possible.”
The DVD is sold with a new edition of Macbeth which includes a special foreword by the directors and is issued as part of the Folger Shakespeare Library editions of Shakespeare published by Simon & Schuster.
