2013 Elementary Educators' Conference

Shakespeare is for everyone- especially elementary students! Join our master educators and Folger Education staff in another exciting conference on engaging young students with Shakespeare’s language.
Participants will learn:
How to introduce even their youngest students to Shakespeare’s plays
Teaching with the Common Core Standards for learning
More activities for unifying language and action to interpret texts and master meaning
Using Shakespeare and performance-based techniques for working with ESL/ELL students
How to use technology to explore Shakespeare and more!

Registration fee includes 3-day conference, materials, lunch, and closing reception.
Early Bird Registration is $125 through June 3. DCPS teachers may register for $100.
