Forty Years

The Folger Institute is a center for advanced study in the early modern humanities. Its programs gather university faculty and graduate students for scholarly investigation of designated topics. Based in the Research Division of the Folger Shakespeare Library, the Institute is supported by dedicated endowments, program-specific grants, and a consortium of universities that has grown from the local to the international.
