Bruce Janacek is assistant professor of history at North Central College. He teaches courses in early modern history, history of science and religion and intellectual history. He is completing a book titled "Alchemical Visions: Piety, Privilege and the Revelation of Knowledge in Seventeenth-Century England." His current research interests are in the relationship between historical writing and the rise of scientific thought and the occult tradition in the seventeenth century. |
