Harry Kitsikopoulos
is a clinical assistant professor at the Economics Department of
New York University where he teaches courses on Economic History,
History of Economic Thought, and Macro Principles. Over the last
several years his research and publications have focused on the
social and economic factors affecting the diffusion of agrarian
technologies in medieval England. His research interests have shifted
recently to the diffusion of steam power during the British Industrial
Revolution, particularly to its determinants at a sectoral level
and its impact on the growth dynamics of the overall economy.
