Huang’s designs were selected for the exhibit Curtain Call: Celebrating a Century of Women Designing for Live Performance at The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center in 2009, as well as included in the 2007 Prague Quadrennial. Huang is a professor in the MFA Costume Design Program at the School of Theater, Dance and Performance Studies at University of Maryland, College Park, and an expert judge of Beijing Figurative Design Training Consortium in China.
