Both the long-term and short-term fellowship competitions use the same application form, which you can print from the PDF file here: Application Form.
To apply for a long-term fellowship, please submit eight collated, unstapled copies of the following: the application form, a 1,000-word description of your research project, a 250-word abstract of your project, and your curriculum vitae. Three letters of support should be sent under separate cover to the Fellowship Committee at the address below. The application deadline is November 1 of the year preceding the one in which you plan to take up your residency. For example, for long-term fellowships in 2010–2011, the application must be postmarked by November 1, 2009. Applicants will be notified of the selection committee's decision no later than March 1, 2010.

The application deadline for short-term fellowships is March 1of the year in which you plan to take up your residency. For example, for short-term fellowships in 2010–2011, the application must be postmarked by March 1, 2010. Applicants will be notified of the selection committee's decision no later than May 1, 2010.
