 O.B. Hardison Poetry Prize Winners
Founded in 1991, the O. B. Hardison, Jr. Poetry Prize is the only major American prize to celebrate a poet’s excellence in both poetry and teaching. Winners include David Wojahn, Jorie Graham and E. Ethelbert Miller.
Emily Dickinson Birthday Tribute
Listen as Richard Howard, Susan Howe, and Li-Young Lee, as well as many others, celebrate Dickinson's fierce and compelling influence on poetry in America. The annual Emily Dickinson Birthday Tribute reading, sponsored with the Poetry Society of America (PSA), is held at the Folger Shakespeare Library each December and features black cake from Emily's personal recipe.
