This rare German news pamphlet reports on the terrible flooding that struck England in 1607 when a massive tidal storm surge inundated the area surrounding the Bristol Channel. Thousands of people were drowned and whole villages were flooded. Other news items include a sea battle off Gibraltar between the Spanish and the Dutch and information on pirate activities in the Mediterranean.
