Anne Coldiron (Professor, English; History of Text Technologies program, FSU), specializes in French-English literary relations, translation, and early printing. She is author of Canon, Period, and the Poetry of Charles of Orleans: Found in Translation (U Michigan P, 2000); English Printing, Verse Translation, and the Battle of the Sexes, 1476-1557 (Ashgate, 2009); and articles including “Translation’s Challenge to Critical Categories” (Yale Journal of Criticism), “Cultural Amphibians,” (YCGL), and “French Presences in Tudor England.” Her new project, Printers Without Borders: Translation and Transnationalism in Tudor England, has won NEH and Folger fellowships. She is editing the Tudor translations of Christine de Pizan (MHRA, 2012).
