The Capitol Hill Hotel is located at Second and C Streets, SE, which is approximately two blocks from the Folger and is the most convenient hotel to the library. The Capitol Hill Hotel offers Junior Suites with one queen bed, Superior Suites with two queen beds, and One Bedroom Suites with a king or queen bed and a pullout queen sofa bed in the sitting room. All feature kitchenettes, functional work areas with dual-line telephones and data ports, and comfortable relaxation areas with an easy chair and ottoman. Please keep in mind that Folger rates are below market price. While there are several other places to stay on Capitol Hill, including bed-and-breakfast guesthouses, they may not be similarly priced. When searching for non-Folger housing, please consider the following search engines:
Occasionally, lodging on Capitol Hill sells out for special events or becomes very expensive due to increased demand. One way to avoid this is to make your bookings well in advance.
