Romeo and Juliet Set Free

Workshop and Performance with Folger Education

October 26, 2013

9:30am-5pm

Join Folger Education for a half-day workshop featuring tried-and-true performance-based teaching techniques for studying Shakespeare's star-cross'd lovers. Whether you're teaching the play for the first time, or you feel you've done it to dusty death, join us to learn fresh approaches to bring this play to life in your classroom!

After the workshop, we'll take you to a live performance of Romeo and Juliet presented by Folger Theatre to see Shakespeare's text in action.

This workshop will be led by Sue Biondo-Hench: Folger Master Teacher and editor of the Romeo and Juliet section of Shakespeare Set Free. Workshop fee will include the cost of materials, lunch, and the theatre ticket.
