Teaching Shakespeare 2014

Teaching Shakespeare 2014 will run from June 29 until July 26, 2014. Participants will arrive on Sunday, June 29, and the opening dinner will take place that evening. Teaching Shakespeare’s final events will take place on the evening of Friday, July 25, and participants will leave the following morning, July 26.

Institute participants will work on two kinds of assignments: those rooted in the examination of primary sources in the Folger collections to study the social contexts and other aspects of the plays and those that involve creating digital, practical applications for students and teachers across the country.

Books that are required reading will be mailed to participants before the Institute.
Specific assignments to be announced.

Louella C. Poole and Andrea Jonsson (compilers). A Very Seasonable Kalendar. 1897
