The Tempest



Soprano Ellen Hargis and baritone William Sharp join the Consort instrumentalists in this recording of musical settings of Shakespeare’s play from the seventeenth and twentieth centuries. The program features incidental music by Mathew Locke and others from Thomas Shadwell’s 1674 version of The Tempest, and songs and dances from the play composed in the twentieth century by James Primosch.
