Brendan Galvin



Brendan Galvin was cited by the 1991 judges as a “poet trained in science, a specialist in botany and ornithology, an innovator in both form and subject matter.” Galvin has been an influential teacher for 40 years whose work includes The Strength of a Named Thing, Sky and Island Light, and most recently, Place Keepers.
