R.H.W. Dillard

R.H.W. Dillard’s work as a poet and novelist has been praised for lavishing “things undreamed of—wild, sustained excursions” for the reader (William Stafford). Dillard is “one of the most remarkable teachers in America” (New York Times Book Review) and was named Virginia Professor of the Year in 1987. Author of Sallies, After Borges, and Just Here, Just Now, Dillard is head of the creative writing program at Hollis University.
