A relaxed performance is where the ambiance of the auditorium and theater 'rules' are relaxed. These performances are ideal for people with autism, sensory sensitivities, or other social, learning, or cognitive disabilities and neurodivergences, and any others who would benefit from a relaxed performance. A relaxed performance includes:
- A theater space lit throughout the performance by both natural light and theater lights, with any flashing lights diminished
- A quiet area in the lobby of the theater for people who need to leave their seat during the show
- A live feed of the performance in the lobby to watch until patrons feel comfortable to return to their seat
Please be aware: performances of A Midsummer Night’s Dream have actors entering and exiting from the house where the audience is sitting.
