Andrew R. Walkling

is Associate Professor of Art History, English, and Theatre at Binghamton University (State University of New York). He is the author of Masque and Opera in England, 1656–1688 (Routledge, 2017) and the forthcoming English Dramatick Opera, 1661–1706, as well as a forthcoming edition of James Shirley's Cupid and Death (music by Matthew Locke and Christopher Gibbons), co-edited with Robert Thompson for the Musica Britannica series. He has held short-term Folger fellowships in Spring 2011 and Winter 2017.
