Danielle Skeehan

is Associate Professor of English and Comparative American Studies at Oberlin College. Her work has appeared in The Eighteenth-Century: Theory and Interpretation, Early American Studies, Journal of the Early Republic, and The Appendix. She is the author of The Fabric of Empire: Material and Literary Cultures of the Global Atlantic, 1650-1850 (JHUP 2020). Her current book in progress is tentatively titled Imperial Ink: Writing, Dispossession, and Grammars of the Flesh.
