She recently worked with story coach Tanya Taylor Rubinstein and Tina Packer of Shakespeare & Company to develop and create her new one-woman show, BECOMING OTHELLO: A Black Girl’s Journey. In the fall of 2019, Debra Ann first performed BECOMING OTHELLO, to critical acclaim, at Shakespeare’s Birthplace Trust in Stratford-upon-Avon, UK.
