Eleanor Milne (Ellie) is a PhD researcher in Shakespeare Studies at the University of Birmingham’s Shakespeare Institute. Her research examines how nineteenth-century visual culture continues to shape the aesthetic language and emotional lives of girls in the twenty-first century.
