Rachel Bissonnette

is a Book and Paper Conservator at the Folger Shakespeare Library. She received her M.S. from the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation. She chose to focus on library collections because she relishes the challenge of working with objects like books that require a balance of function and aesthetic. Preservation and use are sometimes at odds with each other, but Rachel is passionate about finding creative solutions for both.
