Sarah Higinbotham

is the co-director of Common Good Atlanta, a nonprofit that links the humanities to the community. Her PhD is in early modern literature and her scholarship centers around the intersections of literature and law. Sarah has written about the violence of the law in early modern England, critical prison theory, and human rights in children’s literature. She teaches at a men’s and women’s prison and is currently a visiting assistant professor at Oxford College of Emory University.
