is a mixed media painter based in New England. Her work bears witness to ecological trauma through combinations of scientific data with figurative, symbolic, and archival imagery. Recent solo exhibitions include artist-in-residence at the Kinney Center for Interdisciplinary Renaissance Studies, UMass, Amherst; the 6018North Center for Experimental Arts and Culture, Chicago; and the Edward Hopper House Museum, Nyack, NY. Martin was a keynote speaker at the “Never Not in Crisis: Forms of Calamity in Catastrophic Times Symposium”, Myers Foundation, Northwestern University.
