Yusuf Mansoor

is a PhD Candidate at the University of Connecticut. He is working on his dissertation, “Native Americans in Tangier: Slaveries in the Early Modern Atlantic World.” His dissertation research has received fellowships from the Folger Shakespeare Library, the Omohundro Institute of Early American History and Culture, the Massachusetts Historical Society, the American Philosophical Society, the University of Connecticut Humanities Institute, and the John Carter Brown Library.
