David Quick

David Quick (Adult Services Coordinator, DC Public Library). Originally from Detroit, David Quick has lived in Washington, DC since 2001 with one break to build boats in Maine and another to become a librarian in Michigan. He has worked mostly as a public librarian, but he also worked at the Veterans History Project and continues to be passionate about oral history and archives. He is an avid reader, knitter, food grower, and bicyclist who loves planning DCPL’s annual Tour de DCPL bike ride. He lives in the Petworth neighborhood of DC with his partner Kyle.
