Stuart Rose

Stuart Rose is a business leader and Chairman of REX American Resources Corporation. Prior to that he was Chairman and CEO of Rex Radio and Television, Inc., which he founded in 1980, and has also worked as a research analyst and merger and acquisition broker. Mr. Rose has a degree in Business Administration from Emory University.

 

An avid collector of rare books, Mr. Rose has built a remarkable collection, from which he donated an assortment to Emory University’s Manuscript, Archives, and Rare Book Library in 2011. Among them was a theological study by St. Thomas Aquinas that is now MARBL’s oldest book, and a 15th-century volume of universal history, the Polychronicon, one of the first books published in the English language.

Mr. Rose is President of the Stuart Rose Family Foundation of Dayton, Ohio.
