Holly Twyford

Holly Twyford is thrilled to be back with Round House Theatre and Folger Theatre for her sixteenth collaboration with Aaron Posner. Prior work includes the Classical Theatre of Harlem/Folger’s King Lear (text coach), AD on Measure for Measure at Folger, and directing the audio version of Romeo and Juliet for the STC’s Academy for Classical Acting. Holly and Aaron (as actor and director, respectively) have previously joined forces at Folger for the productions of Othello, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, King John, The Taming of the Shrew, As You Like It, Twelfth Night, and The Two Gentlemen of Verona.  Other roles include “Jessica” in The Merchant of Venice, “Beatrice” in Much Ado About Nothing, “Hamlet” in Hamlet, “Helena” in All’s Well…, “Juliet” in Romeo and Juliet, and dozens more plays not written by Shakespeare. She is an actor and director in the Washington, DC area.
