Remove any jewelry or other items that could catch on materials.
Make sure your hands are free when using items.
Keep materials on the desk at all times.
Do not stack items.
When writing, make sure your paper is on the desk, not on top of an item.
Share discoveries with others by inviting them over to your desk instead of taking items to them.
