Chanti Burnette is an English teacher at King/Drew Magnet High School of Medicine and Science in Los Angeles, CA. Chanti has shared her expertise in culturally responsive teaching at both San Diego Comic Convention and WonderCon in Anaheim, CA, highlighting the role of comics in building culture and community. She loves the Dodgers, a good cappuccino, and getting lost in the stacks of the Folger Shakespeare Library.
