Chelsea Phillips

is an Associate Professor of Theatre at Villanova University in Philadelphia. Her first book, Carrying All Before Her: Celebrity Pregnancy, Repertory, and the London Stage 1689-1800 was published by University of Delaware Press in 2022. In 2018-19, she was the recipient of the American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies-Folger Institute Short-Term Fellowship.
