Two truths from Dr. Peggy O’Brien, the Folger Library’s Director of Education:

TRUTH #1:  “Whatever you do, don’t teach The Merry Wives of Windsor!

TRUTH #2:  “Absolutely come see this wacky and wonderful The Merry Wives of Windsor!

Calling all educators! If you teach—and even if you don’t—join us before the show for a lively workshop on this gem of a play. Participants will explore the language and the story, learn how Shakespeare's audiences reacted, and investigate some early printed versions of the script. Included with your ticket is a complimentary light fare and wine reception.

After the workshop, we are excited to offer teachers and educators $15 tickets to the performance of The Merry Wives of Windsor at 7:30pm. Add this event to your cart to unlock the discount code.*

*Limit four tickets per household. Offer only eligible for those who attend the pre-show event. Please be prepared to show your educator or teacher ID at Will Call when collecting your tickets.
