Jane Katherin, one of the early readers of this First Folio, inscribed her name on one of its leaves. Henry and Emily Folger purchased this First Folio in 1911 for $660. Back then, it was considered an unrecorded Folio, because it was not listed in Sidney Lee’s Census of Copies of the Shakespeare First Folio (1902).
The entire introduction (including the title page) and the last leaf of the final play in the volume, Cymbeline, have been replaced with facsimiles. A number of other leaves have been supplied from other First Folios or restored in manuscript facsimile.
