Folger Consort is the award-winning early music ensemble-in-residence at the Folger Shakespeare Library. Founding artistic directors Robert Eisenstein and Christopher Kendall established the ensemble in 1977, and continue to create programs that offer opportunities to discover and enjoy music from the Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque periods. Thank you to Folger Consort's community of subscribers and supporters. Subscriptions purchased in 2020 for Folger Consort's 2020/21 season will be honored as performances are able to be scheduled. Current Folger Consort subscribers will have access to any upcoming performances as announced – whether virtual, in-person, or both – as well as any additional Folger Consort programs that are scheduled, such as Early Music Semianrs or other virtual events.
