Folger Consort is the award-winning early music ensemble-in-residence of the Folger Shakespeare Library. Founding artistic directors Robert Eisenstein and Christopher Kendall established the ensemble in 1977, and continue to create programs that offer opportunities to discover and enjoy music from the Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque periods. Subscriptions for Folger Consort's 2022/23 season are on sale now. The 2022/23 season will include both in-person performance at St. Mark's Church on Capitol Hill as COVID guidelines allow, as well as the opportunity to enjoy concerts virtually.
