Missy Dunaway, artist and 2021-22 Folger artist-in-residence fellow, joins us on a new episode to talk to us about her Birds of Shakespeare project.

Missy Dunaway is an artist and illustrator with a penchant for storytelling. A traveler at heart, she has attended numerous international artist-in-residence programs that provide the opportunity for long visits and cultural immersion. She illustrates books, teaches online with Creativebug, and is a represented artist at Portland Art Gallery of Maine.
 
Dunaway earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities and Arts from Carnegie Mellon Univeristy in 2010. She has been awarded a Fulbright Fellowship, a Folger Institute Fellowship, the ArtPrize Educator Award, a New Student Scholarship to the Academy of Realist Art Boston, and traveled to Vietnam as a Four Seasons Envoy.
