at the National Building Museum
Taking cues from Folger Theatre’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, participants dive into the creative world of dreams with poetry as our guide. This 90-minute generative poetry workshop, led by Folger Poetry curator Teri Cross Davis, features close readings of poems by Lucille Clifton, Aracelis Girmay, Langston Hughes, and more and provides participants with the prompts they will need to continue their poetry journey.
Discounts for Folger members, National Building Museum members, and Folger subscribers.
Dedicated spaces in the workshop are available for BIPOC participants and for those who would benefit from a discounted registration. Please contact Teri Cross Davis at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
This in-person workshop is offered in person at the National Building Museum, site of The Playhouse and Folger Theatre's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream.
