Discounted tickets must be purchased directly through the Folger box office by phone at (202) 544-7077. Discounts for Folger members, subscribers, and military are also available online. Discounts and special offers may not be combined.
Discounts must be requested at the time of purchase. A valid ID is required to confirm select discounts. Scroll down for additional details.

No rush tickets
The Folger does not offer rush tickets. Select tickets for discount seats may be available 30 minutes before a performance, subject to availability.
Under 35 subscriptions
Please note: Under 35 discounts are available only for subscriptions, not for individual tickets.
- All patrons 35 and under may purchase discounted subscription packages.
- $150 packages are available for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday evening performances of Folger Theatre.
- $120 packages are available for Saturday performances of Folger Consort.
- We will verify your age with a government-issued ID when you pick up your tickets.
Military discounts
Folger Shakespeare Library has a long standing commitment to the military personnel in our community, and we welcome you to our theater. Veterans, active duty members of the military, and dependents can receive 50% off Folger Theatre, Folger Music, the O.B. Hardison Poetry Series, and selected other event tickets through our participation in the Blue Star Theatre Program.
