One of the most famous, nay, notorious women in theatre history never even got a first name. She's just...Lady and her character description often gets reduced to a word: Ambitious. Occasionally, you'll hear conniving or treacherous. But no one is just one thing, and why should she be the exception? And what is she doing when she's not onstage dealing with her husband? This story gives all the women of your favorite Scottish play some much deserved extra stage time.
